A launch is not a strategy.
The Pioneering Spirit already had a campaign and a date in the calendar. What it did not have was a system for deciding what came next.
The apparent problem
The apparent task was to revitalise a campaign and prepare a press and VIP launch.
What we saw
The idea had been treated as a moment. Without a longer horizon, partners, activities and content would become a collection of announcements rather than one recognisable platform.
What we did
We worked backwards from a five-year ambition: define the role of the idea, map the roadmap, select the partnerships and activities that could prove it, then use the launch to reveal the beginning — not pretend it was the end. The solution was a five-year marketing platform, with a roadmap, partner logic, activities and a digital home. The launch film introduced the history, the idea, the selected partners and just enough of the plan to make the next chapter visible.
“The output was a launch. The work was building what could happen after it.”
